No better way to unwind

Currently reading Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson. I’m pretty sure I’m latching on to all the qualities and traits he had that most people would call “insufferable”. My boss is going to have fun with my next review.

i’ve been obsessing recently with the concept of defining innovation.  not literally, but finding the ingredients that which without, innovation cannot happen.  this isn’t an attempt to find a formula or the actual recipe - to think you can productize innovation is a bit of an oxymoron - but everything i’ve read so far (about 2 articles and 1 TED video) talks about how to foster innovation and a set of best practices for allowing people and companies to be innovative.  not what innovation is made from.

so i decided to publicly chronicle my attempt at building an ingredients list for an abstract concept.  this should either be interesting… or really freaking boring.  here’s hoping for the former.
